As a lifelong learner and experienced healthcare executive, Marty is always seeking out new opportunities to challenge the status-quo in healthcare to drive a “win-win” value proposition for both the companies and partners with whom he works. Currently, Marty is the CEO of PhyMed Healthcare Group, a leading provider of Anesthesia and Pain Management services committed to providing focused, proactive and innovative business solutions that foster high-quality, patient-centered results. Former roles include Division President at CHS, where he was responsible for leading the operations of 36 affiliated hospitals (representing $4.5B in Net Revenue) in six states. Marty also worked with Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, as the CEO of Jewish Hospital and Senior Vice President of Operations for the system. Marty serves on the Via College of Medicine (VCOM) Auburn Advisory Board as well as the Board of Directors for the Center for Medical Interoperability Board of Directors and ProUnlimited. He is a past recipient of the Kentucky’s ACHE Executive Regent’s Award and Modern Healthcare magazine featured Marty Bonick as an “Up and Comer” in 2008. He holds dual master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis in Healthcare Administration and Information Management and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.
